Kristin Cavallari's Post-Breakup Wardrobe Is My Revenge Fantasy

Hell hath no fury like a confident woman ready to serve looks after a breakup. Case in point: the stellar outfits that Kristin Cavallari has been wearing after splitting from her former husband, ex-NFL star Jay Cutler. Since announcing their divorce via Instagram last April, Cavallari wasted absolutely zero time blessing our feed with post-breakup 'fits so good, we'd rank them up there with Princess Diana's iconic revenge dress (IYKYK). And it looks like there's more to come, considering her surprise arrival in the new trailer for season two of The Hills: New Beginnings.
Of course, we're not the only ones who noticed. "Kristin looks happier than she has in the past few years," says Kelli Williams, creator of the wildly popular podcast and IG account @lagunabiotch. "She definitely has a glow about her." Sure, happiness may be the best revenge, but a chic ensemble equipped with a mean neckline certainly doesn't hurt, either.

While the above was a promo shot for Cavallari's jewelry line, Uncommon James, our focus was on her sultry white shirtdress and matching stilettos.
Perhaps as a throwback to her Laguna Beach days, Cavallari celebrated her 34th birthday in a minimalist black turtleneck. "I feel like Kristin had a rough 2020, but in this photo from her birthday, she is just radiant," says Williams. "Her black turtleneck reminds me of the iconic Laguna moment when she wears a black turtleneck with a denim skirt." Eat your heart out, Talan.
The star radiated high-slit realness for the socially distanced AMAs.
Between the crop top, leather skirt, and sassy background setting, this look is peak Kristin.
While on a mini break in Charleston, SC, Cavallari paired a fitted white tank with a breezy skirt and cowboy boots.
"I love that Kristin is totally leaning into being a wine-lover, even though I get stressed thinking about how she struggled with the [wine] opener every time [on Laguna Beach]," says Williams. That plaid shirt just pulls the effortless look together, in our humble opinion.
For a digital press day, Cavallari wore a graphic navy pantsuit by contemporary brand Staud.
This fringe! Those boots! This energy! We love to see it.
A plunging J Lo-esque neckline? All the better to show off those Uncommon James necklaces, of course.

Though the star used this post to announce the end of her E! show, Very Cavallari, the chic LBD cutout number somehow helped to take the edge off the sad news.
